INDUSTRY INSTITUTE INTERACTION CELL – IIIC

Industry Institute Interaction activities was a part of Training & Placement Department since its inception.  The purpose for IIIC is for enhancing the relationship between the Institute and the Industry.  This Cell identifies the industrial expectation and promotes Institutional preparation to meet Industrial needs.  The IIIC reflects in equipping faculty to latest practices and makes the students Industry ready by providing exposure to current Industry practices.

 OBJECTIVES

The objective of the IIIC is to reduce the gap between Industry expectations and academic offerings by direct involvement of Industry to attain a mutually beneficial relationship.  All the Stake Holders, namely Institutions, Industry, Students, & Society stand to gain as it can be a win – win partnership. 

 IIIC ACTIVITIES

• Arranging Short Term Industrial Training for students & faculty members.
• Identifying the opportunities for students project work in Industry / Internship
• Seminars and Workshops by Industry experts.
• Group Discussions
• Training to develop language skills – grammar, vocabulary, reading and writing.
• Training to develop HR skills – communication skills, resume preparation
• Personality Development Programmes (PDP) to gain interview skills, confidence building.
• Skill gap presentation by experts.
• Implementing the measures on skill gap analysis & relevant training
